Create a Template
Administrators can create templates which are accessible to all users of the account by navigating to Messaging > Templates
- Click New Template
- Provide a descriptive name as this will appear in the template dropdown for you and any users on your account when composing a message
- Compose the message
- If you are sending messages to your saved contacts you can include personalised fields via the dropdown with the following field options:
#mobilenumber# (not very useful for a message but it's there if you need it. We won't judge!)
#firstname# The first name of the contact(s)
#surname# The surname of the contact(s)
#emailaddress# The email address of the contact(s)
#dateofbirth# The date of birth of the contact(s)
#country# The country of the contact(s)
- If you are sending messages to your saved contacts you can include personalised fields via the dropdown with the following field options:
Note: You should ONLY use personalised fields if the respective fields have been populated for ALL the recipients you will be sending to. The field will appear blank on the recipients handset if they don't have data populated.
- Click Save
The template will appear in the table of templates with the Name, Message Text and Updated timestamp.
